The Webex software allows users to make and receive business calls on their mobile device or computer. The application functions very similar to a Polycom phone, but can be used from anywhere the user has a data connection. There is an initial setup fee and monthly charge for the service which must be covered by the department utilizing that phone number. The number of devices the software can be installed on isn’t limited, but it can only be used on one computer at a time. You’ll use the same credentials for all devices.
When using a PC, you’ll need to have a speaker & microphone or a headset. Any device you use will require a data connection. You’ll need to download the appropriate application onto your device. If you’re going to be using your office computer remotely, you need to install the software on the device you’re using at home, not the device on campus.
On a Truman PC, the software is available through the Ivanti Portal Manager application.

Your username is extXXXX@trumanstateu.edu with the X’s representing your extension. (Not truman.edu). The password will be provided to you by IT Services.
