Student Long Distance...

The University provides the option of long distance telephone service to on-campus students at 10 cents per minute for all calls in the United States.  To utilize the long distance feature, a long distance authorization code is required. To obtain an authorization code, visit Telephone Services in the McKinney Center. A student ID will need to be presented.   It is very important that this code be kept confidential due to all calls placed with this code will be charged to the student's account.  If at any time a code is lost or stolen, contact Telephone Services immediately; that code will then be deactivated and a new one will be issued.

Long Distance Telephone bills are mailed to students on a monthly basis and payment should be made to the business office. A detailed call report may be obtained during the current month by contacting Telephone Services.  Unpaid bills are included in the monthly statement to parents.  Delinquent bills will result in deactivation of service and students will not be allowed to register until the account is paid.  If you believe there is an error on your bill, fill out a "Request for Adjustment" form available at the Student Accounts office in McClain 105.

The University takes telephone fraud and harassment very seriously and will take criminal, civil and disciplinary action as warranted.
